Dragon Tarot

:boing::boing: I got the Dragon Tarot today.. Woo hoo!! :bigredgri I took a quick look at the cards this afternoon..OMG, the pictures are sooo pretty. :) (I think I'm gonna enjoy learning this deck) :D

I got my Dragon Tarot deck a while back, but I love it. The pictures are simply wonderful. The guy who did those pictures, also did a poster and a print that I have. He's really awesome.

I agree the images are wonderful.... (that's half the fun of working with this deck, I think) :D

But lately, I've been noticing my Rider Waite deck has been kinda grumpy with me... Probably because I've been working with the Dragon Tarot for the past few nights.. Is there any way to (I guess) calm them down while still working with the Dragon Tarot? (I'm still breaking in the Dragon, by the way):huh:

i've had the Dragon Tarot for quite awhile now. and though the pictures are beautiful, i've found that the symbolism is rather sparse. as a result i don't work with it much anymore.
but i'm glad i have it, as the dragon's are really cool.

as far as your Rider-Waite deck not feeling the same, i think that's because the two decks take a different approach to the tarot, and when your mind is wrapped around one system it is not as sympathetic to the other.
it is certainly not some kind of 'tarot jealousy'!

Yeah, I was thinking that my Rider deck might be jealous because of the time I've been spending breaking in the other one..

:) You found it hard to read too?? Whew..I thought I was the only one that couldn't get much out of some of the cards - especially the minor arcana... :(

but I love that deck especially the major cards, the minor ones are boring and I didnt get the ace of penticles and the two of penticles so I painted over the 'how to' cards :lol:, just for fun. I bought them for the fool but the others are kind of interesting if dull.
