I am new, so I guess I oughtta introduce myself :). (I am also sort of new to Paganism, I am an ex-christian, but I dabbled in many beliefs before I was christian, so I kind of came full circle I suppose).
I'm 21 years old artist type person from Kansas, USA. I guess I would describe myself as a panthiest. I do believe in Gods/Goddesses, although I'm not sure how I see them yet(as archetypes or as real entitites). I follow the Egyptian Pantheon most closely. Specifically Seth and Anubis as they are the ones who have 'spoken' to me but I am still learning about everything. I also feel close ties to Native American, Greek and Celtic mythologies. As well as the concept of "monsters" in the fortean sense, like, closet monsters and boogeymen and whatnot. And folklore legends like the Wendigo and Black Dogs.
Some random things about me:
My favorite author hands down is Algernon Blackwood.
I'm a horror/dark fantasty/weird fiction fan. Both books and movies. Favorite movies: Jim Henson's Labyrinth and Miyazaki's The Cat Returns.
I love science and theoretical physics, but alas I am horrible at math.
I am hoping to make some new friends and learn things. Especially since all my friends are not 'into' this sort of thing, I don't have any sort of outlet for discussing or exploring with others.
