Color war...

And Flar the Warrior beheld the battlefield spread before him.
Tears streaked down his worn and blood streaked face, there
would be no winners here, only chaos and death. He watched,
as mindlessly brother fought brother over a matter of color.

This was unlike his previous war, the one that sent him to hell as
a result. Here there was no clear cut enemy, only each other.
Seeing this he realized this was not his war. He sheathed his
sword and strode off into the smoking ruins to seek his true
nemisis. He would leave behind the world of the color mad and
hunt for the slayer of love, the doer of evil, the bringer of hatred.
The unnamed one. His work is already becoming apparant even here.

the warrior contemplates humanity and his role in it. Why does
mortal man fight for such foolish things? There are true enemies
about, and yet they cannot unite long enough to choose a simple
color, or flag if you will. They will not be prepared when the
enemy comes.

Having reached this conclusion, Flar the warrior knows what he
must do. He dons his armor and readies his sword. Alone, he
strides off to intercept the enemy and buy the color mad people
the time to unite and prepare for the upcoming war. He buys
them this time with his blood, and maybe his life. Such is the fate
of the warrior.........so be it.

:eyebrow: Yes..Perhaps I have been a bit off the wall with the brown campaign....Although I was slow to come into the war, I've been right up there hollering at everyone to vote brown.. Do I regret it...No. I got swept away in the insanity of wanting people to choose the unpopular colour in the polls. Will I slow down? Possibly- even if it must limit my time online.. I know brown won't win, so why bother starting a campaign? I don't know... Probably for the fun of it all. (And it is fun, mind you!)

Now, if I'm reading this right, Flar.. I do believe you're tired of the posts/threads flying around here w/ people wanting those who haven't voted to vote for their chosen colour... I see you've pretty much given up the orange campaign as well... In support of stopping the war. My hat goes off to you.

And, yes, it is a war - we're 4 days into it. 3 days left, blue will be the obvious winner by a ton of votes - I'm too tired to figure out the exact number for the moment... :ahhhh:

now prisoners or worse. The peasants pick the fields for treasure
to help them through the coming hard times. Harvest and no men
or sons to help. The Warrior sees all this and it touches his heart.

He plants a seed. A special seed, one that was given to him by
morrigan on a different plane. "This seed will provide for all your
needs and those around you for one of your years." Morrigan
had told him. And why should he doubt, he had held a sword at
the godlings throat to secure the peace in that war. Although
they did part on good terms.....
