I have a 2ish inch fluorite egg that is absolutely beautiful. It has green, blue, clear, and purple layers. In this egg, there is a substance that looks like mica. Sort of like fuschite does. It is a flat layer and very reflective. I will try and post a photo when I get off work. But for now, anyone have any idea? It doesn't look like a fracture to me. But I suppose it could be.

You seem to have rainbow flourite it sounds like. Does this mica-ish thing appear like an inclusion or occlusion. Yes need pics to see what it is. Please.

Flourite can have all sorts of inclusions and/or things attached to them. Picture would be great. One thing that would be very helpful is the location from where it came... if you knew the name of the mine itself that would be great. With the mine name you could narrow your search down to a handful of minerals.

Unfortunately, I don't know what mine it came from. I will post a pic tonight though.

Okay, some photos. The last one shows the inclusion? the best.

Well it's a beautiful piece. it looks like either a purple fluorite with a slight coloration of blues and greens or rainbow fluorite.

Thanks illisions. Any idea what the inclusion is lightdragon? Or maybe it isn't an inclusion at all?

How much could one expect to pay for something like that, if I may ask?

A few of the pictures make it look like it is just internal fracturing much like what you get in quartz in a rainbow crystals. The last picture however makes me question the fracture idea due to the white feathering you see at the very bottom but have seen a few fractures like that as well

It looks like just a crack from the pics. Missed Wolfsong's post.

to my eyes it looks like the inclusions I have in one of my quartz crystals. Like a fuzzy internal fracture, but it seems to make the flourite look rather pretty. I myself like inclusions, as I do crystal scrying and readings. The inclusions appear to allow the pictures I get to flow better. Just my POV.
