Merry meet!

My love has bought me a rather goregous and gaudy amber ring for my birthday, I know that it represents knowledge of the witch, but I also would like to know what other correspondences it has, if you could, will you list some?

Much apperciated in advance.

yours,
Autumn

The old Greek name for amber was “elektron” - amber rubbed against wool or silk becomes electrically charged!

Birthstone: November.

A very old organic substance, amber was one of the earliest known gems; amber talismans and jewelry have been found in Stone Age archaeological sites, as well as in ancient burial chambers. It has been used by ancient civilizations for 10,000 years. Amber has helped track ancient trade routes, and is documented in literature and the mythology of many pre-Christian cultures, and was referred to as "northern gold".

After my son was born I could feel myself slipping into a postpartum depression. I bought a string of amber to brighten my mood and make me feel beautiful. (It, along with a spell and some prayers, did the trick. I feel just like my old self, if not a bit sleep deprived.)

I've heard that amber helps with the pain of teething with infants. :)

it definately does, and what a great way to use it as adult as well

congrats !
