How do you approach this issue? Is it possible to see the Norse pantheon as aspects of an eternal panentheistic Divinity as they are portrayed as finite beings with their destiny mapped out at Ragnarok?

you can veiw them anyway you want. Most Heathens, veiw them as the individaul Gods/Desses they are and treat them as such myself being one of those people, though I come from a more Anglo-Saxon veiw. They are approach with great respect and friendliness.

Does it matter if they're eternal or not? By the time they're gone, so will you. The story of Ragnarok is there to remind us that it's our chidren who carry on our legacy and that all things die, so death should be met with bravery.

Not all the gods die at Ragnarok.

Ragnarok has happened, is happening, and will happen. Time is circular.

That's what they've been telling me, anyway.

The Gods are our Ancestors. It's as simple as that... how would you approach your grandparents?
