Malaysian society claims to have evidence of Bigfoot colony

I'd take this report with a mountain of salt.

The Johor Wildlife Protection Society said it has "scientific evidence" to prove the existence of Bigfoot whose reported sightings recently in the Johor jungles have excited the world's media.

Not just one Bigfoot but a whole colony of the giant, hairy creatures which the society named "Orang Lenggor" (Lenggor People) as one was spotted in an area by that name, said the society's secretary Tay Teng Hwa.

Well, then, acquiring some solid physical evidence shouldn't be too difficult. I find the whole bigfoot phenomenon fascinating, but until someone brings in a carcass (or a substantial portion of one) this question will never be settled. If such an animal exists, I think it would be tragic to kill one simply to satisfy our curiosity, but if anyone wants to conclusively prove their existence, that's what it'll take.
