for quite a while now, I find that when I run in my dreams I run on all fours. Is this significant at all?

Maybe tapping into some animal urges/instincts?

from my experiences you move by different "vehicles",according to you'r
familierarity towards the place/feeling/situation you've placed yourself
within.
often times during bad dreams,or dreams with lots of frustration, people
have commented about feeling like there running through mud,or running
really hard but not moving anywhere,or the trail, road, hallway etc stretch
far out of your grasp,or tripping and falling often,or having a "monster"
chase you through various corridors, rooms where all you see is its shadow..
when you are familier, comfortable with a feeling,or the place,or the situation
you have incountered within your dream, you imo take on the opposite
"vehicle",you can run really fast, you can run on all fours (which for me flying
started happening soon after this)
for me the intresting part was to think myself through the obstacles of the
"bad dream situations",like for instance i remember walking through woods
with some dogs following/stalking behind me; growling and making me all kinds
of apprehensive.
the faster i tried to move the more i stumbled and tripped on the branches
laying all over the ground, so i did the simplest thing in the world..
i looked down and watched my feet move so i wouldnt trip on the branches
anymore,well that "bad dream",wasn't a bad dream anymore...problem solved..
so next time you find yourself running on all fours in a dream, try leaping really,
really high in the air, maybe flap your arms and land on your head a few times.
or maybe you need the insentive of a monster chasing you,or a "friend" to
push you off of a mountain first..
but sooner or later running WILL PROBABLY lead to flying.

could be lots of things. if you are aware enough while dreaming to remember these things, hopefully you're aware enough to consciously do things in your dreams, if that is the case, try what um... (sorry) whoever posted before me said, and see what happens.

well, in the most recent dream I actually did begin to float/glide above the ground a few feet. And yes, when I'm running on all fours I'm in a familiar and safe place.
thanks for the input. :)
