Does anyone know what would be color and herb correspondences for a ritual involving Justice for the unjustly accused???
(I prefer not to go into details, as I don't believe it to be appropriate)
Feedback would be appreciated.

The only info I can find right now says the Hekate is good to call for justice, and I believe dark or navy blue would work well too. Maybe a balance scale, or a gavel, could be used for symbolism? I would also use a black and a white candle, or at least a black one.

Perhaps a spell to bring out the truth? I remember seeing a truth spell somewhere here in Magick & Rituals.

That would be my recommendation. A good truth spell is a worthy weapon.

perhaps a feather to represent the feather from Ma'at's headdress.
this is the feather that a person's heart would be weighed against in the afterlife. if their heart balanced with the feather, they would be reborn. if not, then Anubis would toss it to the crocodile and there soul would be gone!
i would also invoke Themis, the Goddess of justice and balance who is depicted in the statue displayed at all U.S courthouses (ironically!). she is blind to all but the truth, and holds the sword which cuts through all illusion.
"Truth is the sword of us all!"

I always use blue for justice but I'm not sure about herbs.

Make yourself the 'victory' Runecharm using the Runes Sowulo-looks something like

And the Rune Tiwaz-looks something like
/|\
|
|
Tiwaz is the Rune of justice: the shape represents the scales of justice...
Carve this into a piece of wood, or make a charm from Sculpy-type 'clay', & wear or carry it, or draw it on paper & carry it... when you 'bind' these two Runes, it will look like
/|\
|
\|
(only the 'lines' will be solid, not 'dotted')

This might help.
Sowulo - http://www.tarahill.com/runes/sowulo.gif
Tiwaz - http://www.tarahill.com/runes/teiwaz.gif
What Rick means for you to do is carve these one over the other so they are one rune.
It might end up looking like this

or this

Thanks for all the great info.

The runes might even be good to carve into the candles for the altar during the ritual?????

I found the spell you were talking about, it was in a message dated 10-12-2001 (Posted by GoddessofWisdom)
Thanks for the tip. It is going to get incorporated into the actual ritual (which is for a friend of mine)
