This is so cool I found some Guadalupe and saint candles in a dollar store! That is so neat I dont have to pay six bucks a candle at the freaken occult book store for them (which is why I didnt buy any), and there must be a base for Guadalupe worship here in my very own city or else they wouldnt have ordered so many cases, either that or the shop keeper got a wrong order or is a Guadalupe fan him/her self! That is so cool! I have never seen candles their either and then they have a whole bunch of MY Goddesses image candles (and some saint that I am looking into) WITH ROSES!!! Could there be any better event in my life right now?! Oh tomorrow I am going up to the store and stocking up on her! I will dry a rose for her to and then get some cool rose oil from the occult book store (which is rediculously over priced, but they dont have any dollar rose oils, but they have dollar rose candles accross the street!)

Oh being poor sucks or else I would buy them all! As it stands I will only be able to afford two or three with a rose. But Goddess willing I will get as many as I can. This is so cool! And the coolest part of it is that I would have never found them had it not been for coincidence after coincidence! Hahahahaha!!! I dont have to buy them from pot heads any more! I am going to ask the clerk if they are going to be instock and for how long, hopefully they are a regular item, otherwise allouance money is going to buying them for as long as they are in stock. I even have a new rose candle holder for it! And now I can put off that expensive Guadalupe statue for a few weeks. Oh that is so cool, I am going to the nearest catholic store and seeing if they dont have any other Guadalupe items. (this is a mainly baptist city which is why I have avoided catholic stores, that and the whole pagan thing...) Oh this is so cool!

mato, congrats on the candle find! I live in an area where Guadalupe and saint candles sell everywhere (even in the grocery stores.) You'd have a blast shopping here! Hope you can get the Guadalupe statue that you want soon, too.

They are holyday items! :wah: Oh well I guess next pay day I am taking twenty bucks up there (which is a major investment for me!) and buying whats left. Get this they bought that saint because his candle was green and Jesus' is red! They are so cool though, and more than half price cause of the holiday season, whats more I saw another person buying them so I am not alone in this city! and the coincidences just keep coming!

And I am going to look for an alternitive sorce of my Guadalupe candles, cause I like em.

Sorry to hear that they are just there for the holidays. Do you have any latin american markets where you live? They're always a great source for affordable saint candles. I live in a largely cuban community, so the markets keep them in stock at reasonable prices; like $1.15 - $4.00 depending on the quality, for 7 day candles.

If you shop online, you might want to check out genwax.com. They have 7-day rose scented Guadalupe candles for 1.80 each.

Hope you're able to stock up on the ones you've found before they sell out. Good luck.
