Can anyone please provide me with all quotations that indicate Gardner supplemented the New Forest Material? I'm specifically looking for a letter I believe I read where he told someone he was doing such. I am not interested in quotations from Valiente, Hutton, or anyone else, but actual quotes from Gardner, either from his books, or more importantly, from that missing letter if it exists.
