Gadzooks! This is great finally being able to post stuff instead of just reading it!:) :D
Brian Froud is an increadible artist! If you have read his book "Good Faeries, Ban Faeries" and loved it, or if you just like faeries, sprites, pixies, sidhes, gnomes, sphinxs and the like...this is the deck for you. Sure, it's not really a Tarot deck, per se- but it can be used in the same way! Im looking for other people who have this particular deck, and their opinions, interpretations, and stories of course! :)
Man oh man, it would be great to hear from others who are using these whimsical cards.
For those who would like a glimpse of his card artwork, you can get an online reading at: www.faeries.net/faery/oracle/
they've just added nifty music to the site too...yay! :T
mm, love to all! :loveduv:

I've had it for awhile and love it.
Funny you mention it; I just dug it off the shelf for the first time in a few weeks today. I think they called out to me when I walked by :)

hello from the opposite side of this great goddess-blessed country! Do you have any take on the blank card? I got them last christmas, and nothing has really stepped out of the mists and introduced itself as a guide for me. Any advice for me? How did you find yours?:D

I didn't find a guide so to speak.
I drew on Pagan symbols and a third eye; things that make me think of higher thinking and the 6th sense.

I havent got this deck but wanted to pop in and say :wave: Hi! and welcome :)
& also that your guide may be your inner guide ~ that little voice that shouts something at a card as soon as you see it ;)

yeah, im still stumped tho. You guys are great! I figure that when i get around to drawing something on that zero card, it will be something abstract and/or colorful like the singers, or Rarr (that little ball of energy is just so cute! :p ) rather than a sketch or something. Im not that good of a drawer, so i couldnt draw the appletree gnome that lives in my backyard or anything. :ugh: unfortunately. :(

Yes I have the deck, hence my screen name! I got the deck about a year ago and would sometimes get really weird vibes when I used them at first. I put them them away for a while and have recently gone back to them. I find I now get some real good readings using these cards, but only when reading for myself. I think I need to spend a little more time with them before I try and read for others again.

I also got this deck last year for christmas and got odd vibes from it. I put it up and found it wasn't meant for me but for my niece(who's 5). As soon as she walked by, she said they talked to her(she did that with my dragon deck also). I really haven't done much with them since it's difficult to pry her off =}

hee hee, my cousin is glued to my deck- so i know what you are talking about! :) In the past ive had some difficulty with tarot decks, but finally brian's deck came out and i was instantly drawn to it. Violetrose? Do you ever find that sometimes answers from the cards are somewhat contradicting, like the faeries are purposely trying to confuse you (no matter how direct you questions are) ? I think it's amusing, but sometimes it can be frustrating. Perhaps they like keep beginners on their toes? Do you (or anyone else here) have this situation hapening to you? Input would be greatly appreciated.
