he he! Sorry, but I have to brag for a second.

I was tucking the two kids in bed last night. He told me that he sleeps with a blue bubble around him. now, I have told him when his mind gets too excited, to breathe in a color that makes him feel calm. His color is blue. But he went even further and made it into a bubble surrounding all of him. he then goes on to tell me he has a dragon in the bubble with him, and that dragon helps him and keeps him safe. I asked what the dragon's name was, but he didn't know. I suggested that the next time he sees the dragon, to ask him. :)

Again, sorry for bragging a bit, I just thought that this was very cool!

That is so sweet. Sounds like you've taught him well. Kids can be so precious. :cutie:

It's almost always easier for kids. Look at olden times plenty of people had precog and the like but frightened people told thier children it was just dreams and if you don't use an ability you lose it. We as a society have taught our children that these things don't exist as individuals we need to educate society and help our children develope these abilities it can help ours too.

Thanks. :) Yvonne, you are so right- and I hope to encourage this in my kids and not stifle it as so many parents unwittingly do.

He made me nuts yesterday- We had a play goup over- 3 boys and two girls and moi. Of course the boys, being 5-6yos', turned over toy into a weapon (argghhh!) and Scott decided to go on a dragon hunt. I had to take him aside and tell him that if he was mean to his dragon, the dragon wasn't going to stay with him. I gave them a toy dragon to "hunt" all the while mumbling apologies to his dragon friend under my breathe.

DYFS would have definitely carted me off yesterday, if they had shown up at my door. :woah: :T

Oh boy after the day I had today with my son I really need to join in this chant!

Things will be normal again...things will be normal again...no I cannot kill him...no I cannot kill him! Whew *whipes sweat of brow* I feel sooo much better now!:D

I agree the kid swap is a great idea...my friend and I do it all the time...she will take my son overnight and in turn I will take her son. We try to do this at least once a month to keep our sanity!
