Hello MysticWicks! I discovered you down a data back-road that I almost forgot.

While on a quest for Pagan/Wiccan/Kemetic 'stuff' I became lost and confused in a web of information and ended up on Sandfords.net - I kept coming back and reading posts, listening in on conversations and generally lurking behind the Velvet Curtain.

I registered a few days ago after reading a couple of conversations that I want participate in.

So.... let's see, what else should I tell the ecclectic MW community...? I am 34, soon to be 35, I am named for a Celtic Goddess, Oonaugh, anglicized to Onagh, married to a Jew, I practice Celtic/Garderian Wicca and Kemet, I live by the Beach (South Bay - south of LAX in California), and am descended from Scots-Irish Witches. Traced my heritage back to 1675 Beith, Ayrshire, Scotland and 1823 Ireland. No human children, due to a long slow dance with Ovarian Cancer brought on by Severe Endo/Adenomyosis. In place of the kids I have 2 Chihuahuas, make that spoiled Chihuahuas.

I look forward to making some new friends here. Anyone in the South Bay, drop me a line, would love to have coffe and chat.

Hey Puma Hime, very close, actually to Palos Verdes. I live in the South Bay (Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo), I take drives along the Peninsula when there's no fog, and I take my dogs up to the bluffs on sunny afternoons. I'm a working girl, so weekends are my playtime.

As for the Chihuahuas, they have a bad rep, but the truth is they are very loving, sweet and incredibly intelligent. I have met so many people with Chihuahuas in the South Bay, it seems to be the "dog of choice" especially for the condo/apartment dwellers along the strand. The biggest problem with Chihuahuas is they are very "clannish", they bark at everyone and everything except other Chihuahuas and Chichuahua owners.

There are also many many wiccan/pagans here in the South Bay. It's interesting because there are so many Catholic churches here, maybe it's a message to the Vatican?? I guess the beach just breeds Pagans! (LMAO!) The group I am most closely involved with is Iseum of ISIS Navigatum, in conjunction with The Isis Ancient Culture and Religion Society, Inc., (web site is: Iseum of ISIS Navigatum (http://home.earthlink.net/~specialjourn/) ) I am more of a solitary than anything else, and the structure of the Navigatum is such that solitary life is honored - basically you decide how much you want to participate. Unfortunately, they are located in Venice, so I have to leave the South Bay for most of my rituals.

I thought I'd run into more pagans from the South Bay here at MW, but you are the first. Hopefully they will slowly come out of the MW woodwork!
