After making a fresh start in this particular area of my life, I want to ask you what things you have learned from your relationships. For me it would be:
- don't rush
- live for yourself, not just for your partner
- be realistic
- don't think that every person who points out that something is wrong in your relationship is definitely against you and wish you the worse
- take care of others and don't neglect your friends, even if your are with most wonderful - and most absorbing - partner
- put into it not only the heart, but also the mind

And I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who have responded to my topic in MW Helping Hands&Hugs, when I was considering a marriage. Your objective opinions gave me a chance to think this decision over and postpone it. I get goose bumps every time I think of my own irresponsibility!

To be nice and caring and to care for that person more than you do yourself. At the same time you should know how much of a person is enough. Moderate your time and have a life outside them. Don't become too dependant on them because one day they may be gone, whether you break up or they die, you're going to lose them one day. Never forget to tell them how much you love them because you may never get that chance again.
