i have a freind who's confidence has run low, are there any spells that one can cast to help him be more confidence, that's if one is allowed, because he doesnt seem to happy this way

This one is called "Help" and is used for emotional wellbeing among other things.

You might also try listening to the person and helping them find answers to their problems, or lighting a candle to send him positive energy.
