There are lots of great threads on this board for discussing Tarot divination. Here is a thread to discuss meditations and journaling exercises that use the Tarot as a tool for personal evolution and self-knowledge. Post exercises that you have found useful, questions or insights... anything goes :).
One exercise that I have found extremely useful is to take a journal and to pick a card every day (or once a week, or you could continue to repeat the same card for a period--make it work for you) to meditate on (you can go in "order" or you can go randomly--your choice.. so far I have been going in order starting with The Fool). First just stare at the card, then begin writing.. describe the card as you see it and interpret anything symbolic or meaningful that comes into your mind. Then try to describe the personality and plight of the character/s depicted on the card--pretend you're giving them a psycho analysis or that you're "reading" them or something similar to that.
In daily life look for the same symbols and feelings, and use those insights in your future divination readings and meditations as well. Also while you're analyzing and judging all these fictitious characters take a moment and realize how much of what you're saying about the characters in the pictures could also apply to yourself, your life, your relationships, etc... Take it as far as you like.
