Well, scrolling down the forums, I've seen many forms of Signatures. From simple one line "~username" to half a page of sayings, quips, jokes, song lyrics, poetry, and the like. . . I want to know what your signature is all about! Some are self-explanitory, and some have so many inside jokes that they're inside-out.
Tell me! I wanna know!! *WHINE* ;)
hehe I think mine is pretty self-explanitory. . .

"Nyo!" is from a anime called DiGiCharat. You can use it as a question, or an exclamation, anything really. In the anime, a character called Dejiko-chan uses "nyo" at the end of all her sentences. For example, "hot, steamy rice nyo!"
The thing about me exploding is me commenting on myself. I often feel like my avatar looks. (hence all those unhappy smileys I have in my sig)

I adopted Sunny because my Tarot personality symbol is The Sun. I am drawn to Norse Magick so Smash represents Thor and his hammer. The Witch IS the Magick is my way of saying that the power is within you without going into a long quote, such as all the candles, incense and tools in the world ain't gonna help you if you don't feel the emotion and faith necessary to create the energy that will manifest what you want and need. I just joined MW about a week ago and I am really enjoying everyone's signatures!

one of the best i ever saw was on another board...
"All those who believe in telekinesis, raise my hand".
mine are easy.
the first one is obviously Crowley. the second one is from 'The Prisoner' (one of the greatest TV shows EVER!), and is sort of a personal anthem.
i should change them i guess, but i like to keep it short. i find that a one line post followed by a half a page of 'stuff' can get pretty annoying. just my opinion...

Well, after reading this thread, I went and changed mine. 'Cause I had most of it for a while.
The first quote, is from "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" Paul Newman says it while their riding to their hang out.
The rest if my contact info and the stuff I do here on MW, cause I'm very proud to be the Mod for Music. My old sigs were from Godsmack songs. Nothing has really struck me these days to write down, so, I have no song quotes, at the moment.

Well.. I figured if I have Spike in my name, and as my picture, I might as well do Buffy quotes...
The first one (Oz's quote) is just funny. He was talking to Willow about the fact that animal crackers are all naked, except the monkeys. :)
The second one (Anya's quote) makes me laugh every time I read it. She has this insane fear of bunnies.. and in the last episode of Season 5 (The Gift) she was startled by a stuffed bunny, and said that quote.
The third one (Xander's quote) is something I say ALL the time. And it really freaks people out, especially when I first meet someone and start saying that.
And the 4th one (Spikes quote) from Becomming Part 2.. thats always the part I laugh at hardest when I watch that episode. Reminds me of my bestest friend. :)

LOL the baka stick. . . . "baka" is idiot/fool in Japanese. My friend tifu and I are really into Anime, and we do RPGs (role playing games) and sometimes if one of us does stupid things, we "whack" eachother with a "baka" stick, aka: the stick to hit bakas with! So if you act like a fool/idiot, you get whacked! hehe

I just started using "Living well is the best revenge".
I stole it from an advertising campaign that ran years ago in 'yupscale' magazines. I don't remember what was advertised; maybe I never noticed because the phrase screamed at me so loud ("These are your new words to live by!") that I never got past the words. I used to cut out the phrase & tape it up all over my house.
To me it's a 'That says it all' phrases'.
Think about it. Living well is the best revenge.

#1-The MW Rule. Or is that MW RULES!!!!! :)
#2-That was my response to a person who told me " Science has shown that magick doesn't exist.";)
#3-That is a possible "motto" for MW I was going to suggest to Mol. Then Sep. 11 happened. :(
#4-This is my main signature. it is probably the most profound and enlightening statements on the subject of paganism vs. other religions I have ever heard!

The first line is links to my sites. The second is an excellent quote by EP. The third is part of the hacker's manifesto and my statement to certain people who have a problem with me.
Sometimes I also choose a MW member of the moment to thank various people here for sharing something with MW at large or sharing something with me. For example Danustouch for listening to me and being a counsellor, for flar for being lighthearted and friendly, Ill for speaking his mind, etc.
Sometimes I have "from the Tower to the Star" which is a comment on a personal matter and a general statement showing that sometimes we have to live through chaos to find happiness and spiritual understanding.

The first is (Of course) from Giles on Buffy in the last season. In the middle of all the seriousness and death, etc. they were playing a game when he said that - and it just summed up the entire Buffy experience for me. (Funny, I always thought it'd be a Spike quote).

Well, the doll in my profile I created almost entirely myself. I like it (partially why it's there) and I was tired of people thinking I was a chick when I'm actually not (partially why it's there too). Still, some people are under the misconception that I am a girl, despite the lil' boy dolly. I don't understand it.
The blinkies I created myself. Rainbow Magick to represent my love of rainbows, how I find them to be very magickal, and often incooperate them into a lot of my magickal practices.

Well, the first line from George Bernard Shaw is really just one of the best phrases I've ever heard. It can have various interpreations, but to me, I see it as not living life through limitations, but through oppurtunity. I've always say "It's better to ask 'why not' than 'why?"
It just fit me. The second line is from a character from the cartoon Dexter's Laboratory.
If you watch the show you'll get it, but if you don't, Mandark is Dexter's arch rival. He's like a chid mad scientist, but I think what's great about him is the psychologocal riff he has. He's
the son of these two "flower childs" and he was raised to be a hippie, but he becomes obsessed with science and goes crazy with anger when Dexter makes fun of his real name
( which is Susan :D ) so he renames himself "Mandark" because it sounds less feminine, and dedicatse his life to one-upping Dexter. I just thought it was cool to have a character who's
related to science and spirituality like Mandark in my sig, becauset it reminds me of myself. And Mandark's trademark is that he does everything is the same rhythm, and his laughing is the basic pattern. As for the last line, last summer I would go over to a good friend of mine's house almost every weekend, and her little sister was always the most entertaining aspect of my visits. She was always doing something a bit odd and the moment I remembered the most is when me and a friend were hanging at her house, sitting on the porch, when little sister came up to us and goes "Ants taste bad." We were like ".....?" That's not told to you everyday! I thought it was cute, and put it in my sig.

"Warm tears"-- Mike's memorial
"I realize"---Vampire game... (Hey, I'm still getting people! )
"Lost you again" --Cat's memorial. I haven't added the Pests' onto there yet.

Well, the first part of mine, about dolphins and tuna, is self-explanatory. The second part  is a twist on the "not guilty by reason of insanity" thing. I think that is the most over-used, ridiculous part of our justice system. Somone commits some horrible, violent crime. Are they insane? Of course! Are they innocent? Of course not! Sane people don't do such things. I'm not sane, not sure I ever was. I'm a pacifist, so I'm pretty safe, but I've also done some VERY stupid things in my time. Is it because I'm insane? Maybe. Does that make me innocent? Of course not! Therefore...guilty by reason of insanity.
Ah, that was very cathartic, I feel much better now. Thanks! :)

.....mine is the banner of the week (or the month, depending on how creative I feel)
.....a silly comment
.....a blinkie of the moment
Thats about it...every once in awhile, an inside joke, but not too often;)

Well, scrolling down the forums, I've seen many forms of Signatures. From simple one line "~username" to half a page of sayings, quips, jokes, song lyrics, poetry, and the like. . . I want to know what your signature is all about! Some are self-explanitory, and some have so many inside jokes that they're inside-out.
Tell me! I wanna know!! *WHINE* ;)
hehe I think mine is pretty self-explanitory. . .
Mine are just a few of my own philosophies of life. . .now my avatar saying is just saying I love my doggies and kitties. . . :floating:
My location is just reminiscent of the service I provide for my kitties and the dog slobber I get bathed in (that is doggy snarf, btw) when I provide services for my big babies (2 150 lb Great Pyranees)

the "garbage can of useless information" thing is b/c I really am just that. A trivia queen b/c I have a near photographic/phonographic memory...I remember just about everything I see & hear, and just random tidbits of crap. Like I know that Gone with the Wind was made in 1938 & who all was auditioned for Scarlett. I know where the song Jimmy Cagney sang in The Oklahoma Kid came from.....that sort of random sh*t. Nothing useful......nooooooo.....just random trivia.
As for the rest of it, I change my name to Mab when I chat b/c ppl get me confused with Aine of the Fae. And the rest is my battle cry--I just have it on there b/c I think it's frickin' hilarious, and it does sort of fit me....and it reminds me of my bf. :smoke:
