So, what did you do to celebrate?

I personally did not do much as far as specific rituals are concerned, but I made sure to be outdoor as much as possible to enjoy the gorgeous weather and the scenery. The Japanese cherry trees that are in full bloom right now. They are beautiful.

I just gave some offerings and spent some time doing Senut. Today I felt like taking some time to think of my Akhu. My dad particularly is on my mind tonight. I made my offerings in his name.

I went to a "First Day of Spring" party tonight, so even if I did not perform a full-blown ritual, we nevertheless welcomed the new season with friendship and laughter :)

What about you?

Actually not celebrating until this Saturday - the pagan student org that I'm president of is hosting a Spring Picnic - which will include offering Whiskey to the nature spirits, face painting, dancing, drumming, singing, divinations, egg races and hunts... all in all just out and out fun - we're creating little glittery kits of things to give people. :woot:

Several of us are making faery wings - since the org is many faiths, we're keeping this particular celebration more about the spring and the beauty of being young.

I'm looking forward to it.

my group and I did a small ritual, with a feast afterwards. Everything ended early, since we didn't start till 11 and I had to work at 7... but it was nice. I decorated eggs.

We held our festival of Unnu, the hare god (Osiris as renewal). We had events for children, though inclimate weather kept most away. Our rite was blessed by Set when he stomped through as a spring thunderstorm. We were blessed with hours of live music, feasting and fellowship after our rite. I think we closed around 2pm. We started the day with an 11am mimosa brunch and went from there into games for the children and rites for the adults. Seeing as how we were inside, all the eggs were easliy located.
