I am a wiccan in a family of christians, of which two are preachers and one is working on it, and I just wanted to find some friends who are a little more like me.

I mean, my families pretty comfortable with my choice (as long as the subject doesn't come up) but so times there's a strain when new people come around. Anyway I don't get bothered I just don't make friends that well, at least not real ones.

if its any comfort, i can sympathise with you, growing up in northern ireland with my strict (but lovable) xtian gran. even now in australia, my religions a constant source of tension btwn my family and i, and its caused me to be disowned by my other set of grandparents, but hey! so be it!!! ;) ive got better things to worry about than their predjudices! :)

I can sympathize with your situation. I grew up in a Roman Catholic family and I am still not clear to them about my path now. I also came from a very small town in which everybody seems to know everyone elses' bussiness and nothing out of the "ordinary" is tolerated. But thorough struggle grows strength, maybe one day they will understand.
