The pink tu-tu is a reference to the Discordian Robe of Ceremony, which looks a lot like a tu-tu.

Absolutely no Discordian ritual is complete or effective without it. Some have attempted to step away from the RoC in their daily relgious activities, only to become the laughing stock of the entire organization.

This is somewhat ironic, considering the fact that those who avoid the RoC do so for fear of ridicule, but in the end what might've been a snicker becomes a tirade of endless laughter.

When it comes to Discordian ritual, you've got two options:

1) Avoid it at all costs
2) Wear the Robe of Ceremony

Those are pretty much your only choices. Anything else, and you're bound to wind up as the butt of someone else's joke.
