Confucian Lineage

I found this interesting, I was reading a book of mine and found that Confucious has supposedly got a line of direct descendants in China right now. I can't find anything on it though, does anyone know anything about this?

His family name was Kung and there is a Kung family village in northern China where everyone is his descendant. But being that he lived over 2,000 years ago, I would think that most Han Chinese are descended from him. It is just that the one village is his official 'hometown."
