My best friends little sister, Lacy, had emergency surgery last night. The last I heard at 10 pm, was that they believed her appendix had ruptured. Lacy is 10 and this is her spring break week from school. If you could all send her some healing energies, I know that Lacy and the family would appreciate it. I will updated as soon as I hear more.

Ok, I just got off the phone with her sister, Angel. Her appendix did rupture and she had started to gangrene. They drained her and think they have it under control now, however she will be in the hospital for about a week. So please keep her in your thoughts.

Oh, the poor little poppet! Lots of energy and prayers sent to Lacy - I know how her parents must feel, and mine was only in the hospital for a day with his gallbladder.

Sending healing energy, she'll need all she can get. A burst appendix can be very bad.

I just got an email from Lacy's sister Angel.
lacy's not doing very well. dad called at 5 and she had a temperature of 105!! theyve had her in cold blankets and have been putting ice water all over her, it got down to 100 but then shot back up to 102. her lungs collapsed so she had to do this breathing treatment.
This isn't good. The poor thing, I don't know what to do other than send energy her way. Keep her in your thoughts.

Lacy had a really rough night last night. Her temp went up to 106* and it took a while to get it down. It has been steady at around 102* since around 2 this morning. She has not eaten or drank anything since Sunday. She keeps begging for ice or water, but her stomach won't wake up from the anesthetics. She is having a rough time physically and mentally. Just keep her close to your hearts.
Lacy's sister and brother are staying with my husband and I until she gets out of the hospital. Me and my hubby could use some energy if you can spare any.
Thanks so much guys.

You are a blessing to that family, by opening your home so the parents can concentrate on Lacy. Energies for you and your hubby, to help deal with the overload of emotions that must be in your house right now. :hugz:

Thank you DragonsChest. This family is so special to me. The mother, Elise, babysat my sister and me as children. I have known them all of my life. I have known each of the children, all 4 of them, since birth. I am 24, Angel is 18, Nick is 16, Michele, 14, and Lacy is 10. Michele has autism and I was her home health aide/therapist for a long time. I have talked about her some on the board. I consider them family. Angel calls me her sister and if people don't know us personally, they believe it. So I am trying to be as helpful and open as possible because they are having a terrible time. All of this comes in the middle of the parents, Kelly and Elise, getting a divorce. They all have their own issues they are dealing with, Elise had a nervous break down 2 months ago and is still recovering, Angel was raped by her now ex-boyfriend, Nick just got out of the mental hospital a month ago, and of course Chele with her Autism. I wish the good luck fairy would just go "POOF" over top of them and make it all go away. All I can do is give them my support and open my house to them. I feel like I should be the strong shoulder for them to cry on. I know that the Goddess is protecting them, but wow. They have so much to deal with. Needless to say, its been a hell of a week for everyone involved.
