Does anyone know the best type of soil to plant violet meadow sage in??
I just got some seeds and thought I'd ask befor I plant them and can't get them to grow.

Ok so I'm a bit of a pesamist when it comes to my green thumb =)

One of the most dependable perennials--it is winter-
hardy to -30oF.
It's a sun lover. It will flop if it doesn't get at least 6
hours of sunlight daily.
But it is not fussy about soil as long as the drainage
is good.
Meadow sage is fairly drought tolerant & does well
with regular irrigation.
You can fertilize in April when growth starts and again when cut back in late June to promote another blooming.
Insects & disease have never been a problem.

Hope this helps you dear. :sunny:

Thank you kindly Mystique

Do the same rules apply if I decide to plant indoors?

:D If you decide to plant indoors, make sure that the
plants are kept in a window with a southern exposure
to ensure that the plant gets the required amount of
sunshine.
You're welcome. :sunny:
