(Hypothetical question...)

Let's say I feel a special connection to the Goddess Diana and I also feel a special connection to the God Osiris. Would it be okay to invoke them both in my rituals or would it be a no-no since they are from two different pantheons (that's the correct word, right...)?

Blessed be and Thanks!

Oh and by the way, I'm following a Wiccan-inspired path, if it makes any difference.

Honour both of them if you wish, but separately. Instead of putting them together in a manner neither of them may appreciate, honour them each with a proper consort from within their own pantheon.

Maybe you could worship them both, but not at the same time, like when your worshipping/honouring Diana, use what she likes, and everything, but don't call on Osiris while Diana is there, and then do the same with Osiris, worship him a Egyptian format, with what he likes, etc.

I think it'd would be easier to keep them seperate because you never know how they'll get on, they might get on great and may even be friends, but they also may not like each other and may try to attack each other.

Anyway, i hope that made some sense, and i'm sure there are others here who can helo you more :).

I can't answer for Morgandria, but what I would suggest is that you do seperate rituals to honour Diana and Osiris. You may wish to research how They were honoured in Their original cultures and include elements of that in your ritual; i.e. including Roman elements in your rituals for Diana and Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) elements in your rituals for Osiris. The reason not to do rituals to both together is that you may perform ritual actions that one or the other might find offensive.

When it comes to celebrating the Sabbats, you could choose to honour either Diana or Osiris (perhaps along with Isis), depending on Who you feel is more appropriate for the Sabbat in question.

In the end, how you deal with this situation is really up to you. You may wish to try asking Diana and Osiris how They would like you to honour Them.

Why not? The Greeks and Romans did this.

Yes, but the Greeks and Romans also only really interfaced with one God or Goddess at a time - they weren't honouring their deities in the modern "Lord and Lady" interface. It wasn't as if they were invoking Isis and Mithras in the same rite, or Jupiter Optimus Maximus, and Epona, and implying they were a couple in the process.
