what do my signs mean when they're all put together

i'm a scorpio with a gemini moon and a leo ascending sign.???so what does this mean...i know i'm definately a scorpio though.(personality and mannerisms and all that stuff right down to the nitty gritty) help !!!

In general, you've got a Sun sign, a Moon sign, and an Ascendant or Rising sign...and the rest of the planets of the solar system in your chart. :) They all take on different meanings depending on where they are in your horoscope chart. There's 12 different houses that rule different areas of life/personality/whatever, and each of the planets also rules one of these areas itself. Basically the Sun is like your core personality, Moon would be your emotional nature which you may or may not show to the outside world, the Ascendant is your outward personality: how others see you or what you decide to show of yourself to world. There's also Mercury, your intellect and communication style, Venus, your ideals of beauty, romance, comfort, art, etc...
All you really need to do is pick up a good book on astrology and it will give you definitions for Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Gemini, whatever. But don't forget those houses! :D A Sun in Leo can be very different in the 5th house as opposed to being in the 12th! Everything in the chart is interconnected...with a little study you'll be able to see what parts of your chart are strongest for you.
A good book for beginners would be "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need"...hope this helps! :)
