So I was reading the weekly div. topic and a few people mentioned having their own room for meditation/altars. Firstly I'm very jealous of all of you who have your own spiritual room.
What I'm asking for is to please share with the rest of us about it. what does it look like, what's in it? Do you spend alot of time in it? colors? tools?
feel free to provide eye candy forthe rest of us.

I'm jealous too! I can't even set up anything in my own bedroom because it gets invaded so often... So for now I'm just playing a waiting game.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's spiritual rooms! I'm hoping to glean ideas for when I can set up my own corner at least

This is the first time I've ever had my own room. My house is basically a one-room cottage, but it's the most space I've ever had all to myself and I was just thinking tonight how much I love it here. It has a lot of bookshelves, an antique rocker with a red velvet seat and back, a lamp shaped like an armadillo, lots of shawls and scarves and stuff. My friend says it looks like the inside of a gypsy caravan. My tools include a scrying mirror and crystal ball, wand, candles, tarot cards, and assorted fun stuff like that. Some of them are just for pretty and some I actually use. Lots of art supplies because I like to paint spells instead of saying them sometimes. Here's a couple of pics.

Whenever my SO and I talk about getting a house, we want to have enough rooms so that I can have a library and he can have a game/work room. I think I just found the secondary *cough*main*cough* purpose for my room.
Please!!! More Pagan Eye Candy!!!

Thanks. :) Sure you can move in.
The couch is a daybed and it was a floor model, so I got it at a great price. This is the first time I've ever been able to do whatever I want as far as decorating. Most of the stuff is from thrift shops or yard sales, with a few antiques I refinished.

I am so jealous of those that do too. I'd love to have one. Heck I'd love to have some quiet time to do what I like too. By the time I do, its late and I'm exhausted, or my husband wants to talk or watch a movie with me. Its almost like I never have time for anything magickal unless I can squeeze it in during those 2 hours my daughter is at school:P I'd love to have a room all to myself to strap on the MP3 player and meditate for like an hour in my own world. You guys that do have your own room, your sooo lucky:thumbsup:
