Well the planning is back on for our wedding, now September 16 2006. It was originally going to be February 18 2006, but we moved it back when I found out I was pregnant.

Currently there's tentative plans and arrangements flying every which way, and there's just under 5 months and 2 weeks left to get it all organised.

So far, we've organised...

Venue, Reception, Menu & Drinks, DJ, Celebrant, preliminary guest list, Bridesmaid Dresses, Wedding Dress and Veil, Photography.

Now I wrote up a to do list last night, and here's what I have in no particular order...

Bridal Shoes (Bridesmaids to organise own shoes {silver})
Arrange for someone to do Hair and Make-up (4 people)
Arrange Music
Transport
Groom and Groomsmen Clothing/Shoes
Jewellery / Tiara
Reception Centre pieces
Double check guestlist – finalise
Invitations (which I'll be doing myself)
Wedding Cake
Select Wedding Rings
Wedding Night / Honeymoon
Master of Ceremonies
Wedding Gift Registry
Organise Xander's clothing (son)

So as you can see there's a bit of a list ... and the majority of which has been spoken about, just not set in stone. What's worse is the fact that everybody wants in! Everybody has an opinion of who is doing what. Anyway it's giving me a headache. I just hope I haven't left anything out.

I'm also considering a colour scheme of Purple and Silver...

I'm in a similar boat as you! Going to get things really rolling next month when I visit the US!

Gook luck!

Are you even making the invitations yourself, or just filling them out?

I'm planning on making them myself ... nothing elaborate or anything. My handwriting sucks, so I'll be utilising the computer for that part of it. I've got a template for how I want the invitations to look, it's just a matter of getting the paper and such.

Which reminds me, I've got to re-write the guestlist so my future mother in-law can check over it, to see if I've missed anybody.

Ack! 90 people already ... at $103 dollars a head ... this is getting expensive.

Ack! 90 people already ... at $103 dollars a head ... this is getting expensive. I know what you mean for us we had about 150 guests and in the end with everything our rental of the college cafteria and for the ceremony and reception and buffet it was just over 1000 dollers..
