Does your zodiac sign and your partners have any relivence on your relationship??

Such as for example:
In astrology is a Libra bd a Leo more or less compatible then say an Aquarius and a Libra?

your question brings to mind queries about the relevance of newspaper horoscopes and their accuracy.
I say this because to use just a person's Sun sign to compare with another person's Sun sign to see the probabilities for harmonious union is an overly simplistic method of astrology.
to accuartely compare two people, you must look at the entire person's natal chart in comparison to the other person's natal chart.
for example. My sweetie booboo is a Lion and I am a Sea Goat. Astrologically according to sun sign alone, we don't make a good match. Earth will always put out fire, as they say. But in looking at his chart, you'd find that Venuse, his love planet and that which he seeks in a woman is in Cancer at the almost the same degree of Cancer as my natal Moon, my planet of emotions. My natal Mars, and what it is I would be looking for in a man, is at a degree in Aquarius that is opposite that of his Moon which connects us both once again, now with 2 powerfull Moon Venus aspects.

HIs Venus is also conjunct my ascendant/descendant axis. His Jupiter and Uranus are conjunct my Midheaven. My North and South nodes lie right on his ascendant/descendant axis. This is another strong contact. More important, my Saturn is conjunct his Midheaven/IC axis. My Pluto and Uranus is conjunct his Midheaven.
In many cases with the angles of the charts involved like this the attraction is strong and lasting. In our case, we have a very strong angular involvement.

Think of the angles of a chart as the most sensitive part -- it is where we reach out into the world. The other parts of the chart are more inward. When something touches our angles, we react. You touch each other's angles. You ring each other's bells.

Now, sometimes "bell ringing" can result in a stormy session or two, but overall I'd rather have the excitement -- which tends to keep a relationship alive -- as opposed to a deadly dullness which will only eventually bring boredom with each other.

astrology is as much the study of relationships as it is of oneself. I've have had different astrologers look at his and my charts; with the knowlege I've gleened along the way and it only strengthens my interest in astrology!
