A friend of mine and I made a sisterhood bond to eachother last year (we're both witches and were very close and thought it would be beneficial) unfortunately, we are not longer associating with eachother (my choice- for many reasons) and i would like to break the bond in case it might be detrimental (SP) to my practices or hers. I would be doing it alone, and i was wondering if to undo the spell i would have to follow the same basic structure of the bond. We did it on september's full moon, had ceremonial cookies, closed with red wine, and of course called the corners.
I dont know that i'll be able to make those cookies or convince the adults to let me drink red wine in the backyard. another thing, do i have to wait until september or april's full moon, for that matter?

Theres a really simple spell for cutting people out of your life that might help you (I'm not 100% sure). I've used it successfully a few times, including once to get rid of a nearly-stalker, but never to break magickal bonds. (I dont see why it wouldn't work though.)
All you need is two bits of paper, possibly in your personal colours, some cord or ribbon and a candle (perhaps some oil to dress it with) in the colour that you would assosiate with breaking bonds. (I use black).
The cord represents your relationship, so one in a colour that you feel sums up your friendship or white is good. Write your name/craftname/sigal on one piece of paper and hers on the other and tie one to each end of the cord. Hold one piece in each hand with the cord over the flame, and as it burns through state that you want to sever the friendship and magickal bonds between you. I'd sujest making the words to suit your needs, hence the reason I didn't supply them.
There's also work on the astral planes you can do to cut links between people, but I don't know enough about it to really help you. You could also research "soul pieces" and "chakra hooks".
Best wishes

Oh no you don't have to do all of that! All you need to do a a banishing spell. Just get yourself a small black candle some banishing oil and maybe some kind of banishing herb or herbal mix (I like black pepper red pepper and salt for this.). Carve what you want to banish on it as well as some appropriate symbol like a banishing pentagram. Light it and visualize these bonds being broken until the candle goes down.
You may also want to look into the psychic practice of "cord cuttting"
Good luck!

You dont have to follow the same structure, to cut a bond it can be as simple as visualising the connection between the both of you and see yourself cutting it and wishing her well and turning and walking away, if it holds enough meaning to you then it should work, it depends, go with what feels right for you

I think by not associating with her, you have already cut the bond.

This is an effective spell..
And on the same lines.. you could also tie a string around the candle representing your bond. As the candle burns down it will eventually burn through the string.. hence breaking the ties.. Then you burn the rest of the candle down to finish the spell.

You have some very good suggestions here and also some insight that perhaps the bond is already broken but it is what you feel inside about it that matters. If you deem it necessary to do a ritual or spell to offically break the bonds then so be it.
