About half way thru my pregnancy, Rhyce's nanna (his dad's mum) made me a garter, along with a pair of booties. The garter was placed in a white paper bag, which I placed in a drawer. It suddenly dawned on me the other night that I didn't recall seeing it when I was packing up the belongings from the particular drawer I had placed it in. The only memory I have of it, is it being in the drawer or on the dresser. I've since gone through my belongings and storage containers, that we used to move, but I've had no luck in locating it. The only place left to look is the plastic bag I placed rubbish in, while packing up at my parents house, which I've asked my mother not to throw out, until I get a chance to go through it.

So my dilemma is, do I ask Jan (Rhyce's nanna) to make me another one, claiming it got misplaced during the move, or keep quiet? Rhyce believes that she would probably make another one. I might check with Rhyce's mum, in order to test out the waters a little. She may have even seen it. (We had several people helping us unpack belongings, of which she was one.)

I say ask her. Just explain that you had put it in a safe place, but then with the move, things got all boxed up, and it was misplaced. I'm sure she'll be understanding. :hugz:

I would just ask her.

Being a grandma... she's been around, and knows these types of things happen.

And, hopefully you'll find the original, and you can keep one as a keepsake or something.

Yeah I checked with Rhyce's mum, just to run it past her and she doesn't think there'll be a problem.
