I give up. I've seen many signatures with different fonts and I've been playing around here for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do that. Can someone tell me how you can change the font in your posts? Thanks!

When you post you can click the font drop down box above the textbox you type your post in. You can select a font type, size, or color, then you will be able to enter the text you want in that font. Once you get the hang of the how the scripting looks you will be able to do it yourself.
[ SIZE=1] If there wasn't a spaze before each S this would look like [/ SIZE] this.
[ FONT=courier new]If there wasn't a space before each F this would look like[/ FONT] this.
[ COLOR=darkred]If there wasn't a space before each C this would look like[/ COLOR] this.
You can even nest them so you get a specific size, font type, *and* color you want, like you see here !
You can use the same programming in your signature. Just post or reply and click a dropdown box to see the code you need for whatever size, font type, or color you want, then copy it. Go to profile (top near the left) and down to your signature, then paste it there.

Sorry to be stupid, but I can't find this drop-down box you're referring to! What's it look like?

Do you have vbCode on? If you're not sure, look down past this textbox you type in and the buttons, to the left. There should be a little table that says
You may post new threads HTML code is OFF
You may post replies vB code is ON
You may post attachments Smilies are ON
You may edit your posts [IMG] code is ON
Is vB code ON for you? If not, go to profile, then look for Edit Options. It's in the strip where you see My vB Home Edit Profile Edit Options Edit Password... etc. Click Edit Options. Go down to "Other Options" and look for "Use vBCode quick links on your message input screens?". Click the button for Yes.
The dropdown boxes will look like this attachment

Ya can't be THAT old if you have a 16 year old! My youngest is 18. I do consider myself a Crone by technicality due to an early hysterectomy and the youngest leaving the nest! ;)

You probably had the 27 year old pretty young, I'd guess. I didn't get started til I was 24, trying to everything right, ya know. We had a sitcom going here, too - I've been divorced for 14 years, I became disabled shortly after the separation and we were on welfare because he wouldn't pay child support - I was able to work on getting my Master's degree. It was a rough ride for all of us but I'm so very proud - all three are gainfully employed, nobody's in jail and I'm not even a granny yet! Mine are 21, 20 and 18. #1 born 3/30/80 and #3 born 4/3/83 - three within 3 years, 3 days to be exact!
The youngest is only halfway out of the house - he's in the Air Guard but he still does live at home. Although if he doesn't start kicking in a little more around here now he might soon be getting an eviction notice!

I'm 50, so I didn't have him all that young! I definitely count myself as a young thinking crone!

I don't know so much about wise for me, but age ought to account for something......................
