This is a fun thread...

I just recieved a private message that uncluded the name of a deck I don't own (OMGoddess there are still decks out there that I don't own..).

What did I do, immediately go out look it up and fell in love. That of course led to my latest purchase. This doesn't happen every time, but it gives me a glimpse into what's out there and what others like.

Do you do this and what decks have you purchased after seeing a friends copy or seeing it mentioned in a thread?

I've purchased most of my decks after finding out about them on forums. Most of the time I spend some time waiting for those decks to be released.

Examples (that I own) are:
Gilded
Reflections
Animals Divine
Housewives
Well Worn Path

I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of for now. :)

All three! My fantastical tarot I bought because a friend had it, my osho zen tarot I got because I saw it in the store and had to have it, and my sacred circle tarot I got because I saw it discussed on here! Hehe.

Hi,

your not the only one waiting for the Steele Wizzard. I just don't get it, why doesnt a publisher see what we see.

And I like the Shadowscape deck. I'll put it on the watch list. Until then, I'm ordering the Tarot of Dreams (omgoddess I have never ordered a deck this expensive). The images are like the shadowscape, very provoking but in vibrant colors (I'm drawn to dark color decks, pastels don't do it for me..):boing: .

Believe it or not, I only own 2 decks- the Rider-Waite, which I bought when I was first learning Tarot, and the Dragon deck, which I saw in a store and it demanded to come home with me. Darn stubborn dragons...

Lisa, what is the Housewives deck? That sounds...interesting...
