Can i just ask, is there a difference between members of Kemetic Orthodox and other Kemetic 'pagans' (i know Tamerian's are more wiccans based), are there any Kemetic 'pagans' who worship the Kemetic gods and do the same type of rituals, but aren't members of Kemetic Orthodox, also, i'm going to be doing the class, but i have a question, do i have to remain part of Kemetic Orthodox to be 'considered' a Kemetic 'pagan'.

Thanks, and i hope this makes some sense :).

i'm a kemetic wiccan. i tried the kemetic orthodox religion, took their classes, but it just wasn't right for me. there are so many differences in practices and beliefs just within the time period that egyptian religion was actively practiced, that reconstruction is a pick-and-choose kind of thing anyway. Deities changed functions and relationships, some myths took precedence over others, and temple rituals changed. not only that, but if the egyptians were around today, still practicing the old beliefs, who knows what new deities, myths, and practices there would be? that's why, for me personally, reconstruction attempts are pointless, and i just incorporate the beliefs, techniques, and myths into a much more accessible religious structure that speaks to me, which is wicca.

Every temple has their own brand of kemetic religion, so yes, there are many kemetic pagans who are not kemetic orthodox. :)
