Okay...I have a quick question and i hope i don't sound stupid! I've posted another thread awhile back and probably shoud have asked this question then.
Well i think what i've experienced in the past a few times was actually astral projection but not 100% sure. I'm starting to learn how to do it on my own without it just happening and i've noticed the past couple of times i heard a buzzing sound when i left my body. It sounds kinda like a airplane taking off or something! Is this normal and what causes it? I'd probably experienced the buzzing sound before but just don't remember. Hmm...is that why they call it the astral plane??

p.s.-Now i just need to figure out 'how' to go to differant places i'd like to see!8O

Astral projecting I havent mastered yet as far as traveling to actual places. They way I understand it anyway is before you start your projecting you have to meditate on an idea or picture of where you would like to travel to. I usually just go to my space on the astral plane. The humming well some say they hear a whoosh all that is I believe is the seperation of your soul and your body. That is alot of energy seperation going on there. Humming you can get from any electrical source. Your body is a huge electrical source. As far as why they call it the astral plane I dont know. I guess you have to call it something:hahugh:

Yes, that's normal. Some people will feel a buzzing feeling. I read in one book (gotic grimore) that you could use that buzzing frequency to manipulate which realm your percieving.

The buzzing isn't consistent, just because you get it or don't doesn't mean a whole lot. I only got it the first time, but it didn't last very long.

Astral Plane, lol. No it's because it's another level, realm, or plane of existance. A plane is a flat area, remember from math. (not that the astral world is flat) and an airplane uses planes for wings, in theroy anyway.

Buzzing is extremely common to hear - particularly because you'll start to vibrate at a high rate of speed just prior to the 'exit.' The vibrating will be everywhere... meaning that your whole body will vibrate and your heart rate will go up a bit too (your chest will feel heavy-duty vibration and it can be scary). If you relax, it will just happen - or you may get scared and it will stop. The trick is to not get freaked out.
