Info on Satanism

I was just wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some good factual info on Satanism (preferably websites, since money for books is non-existant right now). I tried doing searches, but came across nothing but weird fundie sites about baby-eating, backwards-reading freaks. I'm guessing that's not exactly what I'm looking for :D

So, any and all help would be vry much appreciated, as I feel a little lost in all the information out there.

I would start by reading the Satatic Bible and then branching out from there. There is little good "historical" information on satanism, and looking at Satanic organizations won't really give you a non-biased view either. But, Start with LaVey and then look at other kinds of Satanic traditions (google Theistic Satanism; Luciferianism; etc).

Also, there's Theistic Satanism (believing in Satan as an actual deity).

The more better ones (IMO) are Diane Vera's site (http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/dvera/), the Church of Azazel (http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/dvera/CoAz/) (which is run by Diane Vera and others), Geifodd's (http://www.theisticsatanism.com/geifodd/sitemap.html)site, (a friend of Diane Vera's and associated with the Church of Azazel), Jashan's site (http://www.jashan.net/sites/satanism/), Dark Matter - Traditional Satanism (http://www.angelfire.com/alt2/darkmatter/), and one i just found is Ya Iblis (http://www.yaiblis.com/), which seems cool.

There's also other ones like the Order of the Nine Angles (i've got some information on them, i'll post it if you like), although they are controversial, because they do advocate (and practice?) human sacrifice, i think they're also a British organization, and there's apparantly links to National Socialism (but for me it wasn't an obvious link) there's a few others, i'll try and find them later, and post them.

There's also www.joyofsatan.com, (and her other site www.666blacksun.com, i'm mostly just including them here just so you can see what a joke these 2 sites are, the owner is a neo-nazi, who, apparantly, has waged a 'astral war' against Jews).

There's also this site, (http://www.freewebs.com/venus666/index.html), it's a Theistic Satanist site, but it's mainly teaches magic, it might be worth looking into.

Anyway, i hope you find what you're looking for, and check out Diane Vera's ones and the ones at the top (there probably some of the best Theistic Satanist sites out there, and the magic one is cool too).

Thanks a lot everyone, this really helps a lot! I think I can take it from here.I've heard of them - years ago. I don't think they're still around. As I heard it, the Order consisted mainly of one man and a couple of his friends; they talked a lot, but didn't actually do much.
But I could be wrong.
