Goodbye

I'm going to have to say goodbye for a while, I don't know for how long. See, Carmelo and I have been having some money problems for a while since I lost my job and it's really starting to get bad. I got my computer from one of those rent to own places, and in order to be able to afford our bills, we're going to have to send it back.

I just wanted to let everyone know so that you guys wouldn't think I just dropped off the face of the planet. It's just going to take me a while to get all this straightened out. But I'll be back eventually.

I'll have this computer until Monday, so if anyone wants to PM me, I'll give you my snail-mail address and I'll write you. I'm a great pen pal :)

I love you guys. You're a wonderful bunch of people. I'll miss you all.

i came to this thread after a couple days of just too doggone busy to find i was looking like losing a couple of new friends then following to see that "something was up" to help them stay with us, i haven't checked the "old folks" thread yet but i'm happy to hear that dextra and her guy may not be leaving (sorry mate, but i do tend to remember the ladies names first. no worries, you're a dinkum cobber). now for my own bit of good news. my daughter has been living at home since getting free of an abusive partner. a few months ago she met a good man, the sort she deserves, and they are engaged, planning the wedding for july 4th, today they just came home to announce they have found an apartment less than a mile from here in a good building, newly renovated. so her fiance will be moving in to prepare the way and she will join him when they are married.

That's great news. And I hopr all works out well for them. Sorry to hear about the abuse though. At least she is done with that. My mother always said that you have to kiss a lot of toads to find the prince.

Gunner I am very happy for them I have been in a bad relationship before and know how good it feels to find a good one. I hope I never have to go through what you must have in knowing what your daughter went through with my own when the time comes. With any luck I can teach her via what I went through, but not until she makes up her own mind about her father. I don't want her to hate him or look down on herself because of how she was conceaved.
