Color your own tarot decks

Evening all

I was at the local bookstore today and as usual I got dragged away to the tarot section to drool over the beautiful decks that I have no money for. For the first time, however, I saw two different "color your own tarot decks". They weren't the same as the design your own tarot deck which is just blank cards but it was an entire tarot deck that came with some colored pencils and you colored them yourself.

It sounded kind of interesting to me. Has anyone else heard of this? Do you have one or would you get one? Or is it just another gimmick to sell more decks?

The one that I liked the best has text by Juliet Sharman-Burke and the illustrations by Giovanni Caselli. It was published in color first with a pink back and small book; a workbook with color-your-own pictures was then published on the Sharman-Caselli Tarot...then a mini deck with a small booklet and now, finally, a nice soft-green boxed set with a nice set of cards with delicate lines and small booklet.

There's a purple-backed deck with large cards and simpler designs...it should be less expensive than the Sharman-Caselli, if that is the other one that you saw...

I made a deck by myself once, an angel deck it turned out well, I still use it sometimes
