I am new to Paganism and I was wondering where to start. My girlfriend introduced me to Paganism about a month ago so I thought I'd read a book on it. One book led to another and now I buy one everytime I have the money to. But none of them explain to me where exactly to begin. I haven't the slightest clue where to start at. Do I just start praying to the Deities, which Ones should I pray too? Is there an initiation process sort of like Christianity where I pray to the Deities and let them into my heart? I don't know where to begin at, but I know Paganism is for me because everytime I read about it I get a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside of me that makes me want to jump for joy, if you know what i mean(smiley face here!!)
If anyone could help me I'd really apprieciate it!!!!!
Thanks

Welcome. Start where your heart tells you to start. There are so many paths to wander in paganism, you can take the time to explore some of them. There will be one that ''feels" right. Just remember, it's YOUR path to follow. Enjoy yourself on your journey and drop in here anytime to visit. If you have decided on Wicca, Cunninghams " A Guide for the Solitary Practicioner" has a good self dedication ritual in it. If you decide on another path, you can always use this ritual as a guide to make your own!

I've got loads. If you need any more u know where to find em!
Hope I helped.

I consider myself new although I have been reading for well over a year...There are alot of books and sights that I have/go to but this one in particular, I guess, helps to get "certified."

You can do that right here at New Pagans. Just post a thread with what you want to do & ask for responses. People can discuss what they or you would like to see covered & make up a guideline. In light of all the questions lately, that would probably be a good idea here. :)
