I hear a lot of people asking for information that is here already or that they don't know how to find..... So I thought perhaps it was that they didn't know how to use the search feature here on the site. Along the top are a series of words profile, register, calendar.... one of these is search. Click the search button and put the information in the spots it tells you to. Do not use any word that is smaller than 4 letters it won't look for them. Then click the button at the bottom that begins the search or simply hit enter. If your topic is listed it will turn up in a list and you just click the thread you want to check. Mol kept it simple so even the computer impaired like me can use it. :) Good luck with your searches.

Also keep in mind, we have over 20 specialized forums for a reason. When you post comments or questions in the appropriate forum you are finding the best place to get help as well as leaving your post where others who need help can find it. We will be able to answer your question quickly and easily, and other people will be able to see your question has been answered in case they have the same one! Also, your question won't be scrolled down with all the new posts that are left here in Just Talk daily, so it's more likely to be answered before its gone.

Another good reason for people to post in the correct forums, is that it benefits the board as a whole. Not only does it allow others to find such threads more easily, but it also allows the other threads, in the specialized forums, to be viewed more often. I mean..think about it. If people are posting all of their questions/comments/articles in ONE forum, then they probably aren't taking the time to look at all the other wonderful material posted in all of the other forums.
I think that if people visited the other forums, more often, and even looked through some of the archived threads, they'd be really surprised at all of the information available, and all of the wonderful discussions to be added to :)

All good excellent points why threads should be posted in the correct forum! :)
Also, the search function has an unique feature which allows you to narrow your search as well. You can ask it to search in one particular forum or by one particular poster too! I use it all the time. :)
