I am afraid that I have gotten a bit sluggish over the winter and I just cant get out of this cold weather mode, though it is still a bit cold here. What is the best thing to use to get myself going again. Caffeine has little effect on me, like I'm immune to it, lol.

Try a sun box. Some people get the winter blues, and it helps a ton. For a cheap on, got to a plant nursery and buy a few "grow light" light bulbs (sometimes they are pretty big. ) sit under it 1/2 hour each day, it really can pep you up.. its something to do with your eye sensing sunlight that affects mood.

Get a blender, fill it with fresh fruits (banana, melon, mango, apple, strawberries etc), squeeze in some orange juice and blend.

Yum! It works for me too. Fresh fruits with some citrus always boosts up my energy. Also, it's so easy to do- just go to the store.
This mix is so much better for you than caffeine anyway. :boing:

My tried and true energy booster is a morning jog. If you're not up for jogging, then I suggest a good walk outdoors. The fresh air perks you up and all that motion gets your blood pumping to all parts of your body.

When I'm tired I have some fruit juice, then start acting hyper around other people. Even if you have to pretend to be hyper, the looks they give you and the interesting conversations will have you cracking up!
Yeah, I have weird cures, but they work for weird people! =)

Yeah, exercise is good... also I find that sitting about on the computer (or TV, presumably) all day makes me tired, which makes me not feel like doing stuff, which makes me use the computer more, which makes me more tired....
Just getting up and doing other stuff always perks me up. :)

You can try this:
1/8 cup raisins
2 tbs dates or figs, chopped
1/8 cup prunes
1 cup water
1 cup milk
Place all ingredients in blender and blend for a few minutes until semi-smooth. Great energy booster.
