Rite of Passage

[Dryad's Wyrd]

One of my very close relatives is dying and I would like to hold a ritual to help her spirit pass over to the other realm and to help those who are close to her deal with their grief. I'd appreciate any suggestions for a ritual.

Dryad, When my mother was passing into then summerlands
( from lung cancer ) I held the image of Kwan Yin in my mind and visualized my mother being welcomed into Kwan Yin's open arms.
I remember the most compassionate expression on Kwan Yin's
face and the look of absolute peace on my mother's as she was held in those arms. I have a statue of Kwan Yin in my living room
where we ( my family including kids ) talk to KY and ask favours
of her , light candles in her honour etc...
