Gods and Goddesses

as i have said in other forums, i am VERY new to this. ive been reading for about a year (i consider it new) and still doing alot of reading but practicing a little as well. i see everyone stating which God/desses they relate to and i only know of Isis. could anyone give me a list of Gods and Goddesses and what they are all about... (*confused*)

Wow! That's a pretty big request. There's just too many. Perhaps you could narrow it down a bit? Like from any particular culture/country? Also, did you check the "Great website for all the dieties ever (thousands)" thread stuck at the top of this forum? Some of the links seems to be out but I think there's still a few that are working in that thread.

I know how you feel, I've been trying to pick some Gods/Goddesses for quite some time, but there are so many. I decided to stick with the Egyptians. I found a good book about just Egyptian deities at the library.
