I was at my Dad's tonight for dinner (he lives a block away from me) and all of the sudden there were two gunshots a couple of doors down. My Dad called 911 and the cops came out. Needless to say it was terrifying. My stepsister and her two kids were walking out to their truck to leave when it happened and they came scrambling back in the door scared stiff. The look on her face infuriates me, she practically crawled in the door. The girls are 4 and 6 and were very scared. While the police were there they got a call saying more shots were fired a couple of streets over and someone got a description of the car. The cops told us these thugs drive around shooting into the air to scare people. Fast forward to a couple of minutes ago. DH and I were sitting outside and heard several shots fired in the distance which seemed to be getting closer with each shot. I'm pretty of freaked out over this. My son's bedroom faces the street. I feel like waking him up to sleep with us tonight. Please if anyone has some protective energy I'd really appreciate it. This is something I've never really experienced before and I want out of this hellhole of a town, like YESTERDAY! Goddess protect us. Keep my precious babies safe.
