hey, just got back from a nice 5 hour trip to the movies. i saw "The Mothman prophicies" and "the botherhood of the wolf". Mothman was really creppy, overall it was a decent movie, guranteed to make u jump out of your seat a few times, but the ending was really dissapointing....... on to botherhood........... my goddess, this movie is up there with spice world(my deepest apologies to all 3 people that actually enjoyed spice world), do yourself a favor and dont bother wasting your money on it...........
so heres how it gos;
i give "mothman prophices":4/5 elves, would have been 5 but the ending sucked
:elf: :elf: :elf: :elf:

and "the brotherhood of the wolf" gets one big rasberry
:razz:

Exactly what didn't you like about Brotherhood of the Wolf? I haven't seen it yet but if you're gonna critique a movie at least tell us why you didn't like it. ^_^

i haven't glanced at the specialty forums lately but perhaps this might be another good and useful forum if it hasn't been done already

The idea of making an entertainment forum has been brought up a few times in the site room forum.

And I have to agree with Radocs - maybe you should explain why you didn't like it?

o, sorry bout that, i cam home late, and didnt really have time to. well, the plot had no subsatnce, the whole movie was one long fight scene, with some sex thrown in every 15 mins. when u see the commerical it look like LOTR meets the matrix, this movie is more like a cheep porno meets and steven segal movie....

I never get to go to the movies. I really wanted to see the Mothman Prophecies also that silly Kung Pow movie. They both look good to me. Anyone (that can appreciate cheese) seen Kung Pow? :)

- Don't they always? I saw the previews for Mothman and Brotherhood when I went to see Beautiful Mind and they looked good, especially Mothman. But everything I've read about Mothman has been negative. And as for Brotherhood, I am of the opinion that you could package pig dung and label it "French" or "European" and most Americans would eat it up.

Yeah the Brotherhood is supposed to be like a fighting guy Moulin Rouse (however you spell that). It's interesting if you're a crack monkey with ADHD. I hate MR. Worst movie ever! The writers might go on strike so how can we have a script that would take no talent to make? I know let's use old 70's songs! Everyone likes the 70's! Whomever made that movie did far to much LSD and thought everyone else should know what it's like. But then by attaching a paper thin plot. That just killed it for me. If I wanted flashing lights are crappy music I can go to a club.

I almost completely disagree, but you are probably right about the narcotics lol. I think Baz Luhmerman MUST have been on something for it hehe. But all in all I liked it alot, the irony was great the music was fun and it got me clicky my fingers and tapping my toes at every dance and song
