Hello everyone,
I am wrapping up the outlines for Christopagan/Christian witch books. It would be helpful to hear from other Christopagans, or those considering the path, of what you would like to see in such a book, or what questions you would like to have answered/addressed.
You can post here of course, or PM me.
Thank you.

I would love to see:
1) recipes and rituals for magical stuff both in the Bible and in "extra" Christian sources (like the Apocrypha, Dead Sea Scrolls, etc.).
2) Common mistranslations in the Bible that pertain to various pagan and liberal Christian interests, ie. homosexuality and witchcraft passages.
3) Something on the casting of lots, if you can find it. I can never find information on the casting of lots, but it was mentioned as a divination practice of sorts in the New Testament (when Diety was asked who would become the new Disciple to replace Judas after Judas committed suicide). Also, other forms of Divination that are mentioned in the Bible that were considered acceptable.
4) Christian Goddess stuff. I know there are many ways Christian Goddess types look at the Christian Goddess (Sophia, Shekinah, Holy Spirit).
I'm sure I'll come up with more. I just had something happen that distracted me (roommate feeling sick from his diabetes).

Something I would like to see:
Any thoughts, essays, documentation, ect on whether or not Jesus actually was considered (or considered himself) a mystic/witch, ect due to his healing powers. Also whether there is any truth to the claims that he went to India (or somewhere) to study shamanism before his ministry in his 30s.
Sound like it will be an interesting read... looking forward to it! :boing:

I'm not a Christian witch or Christian-pagan, although the paths do seem cool, but maybe you could have different views on God (from Gnostic to regular to different, etc), Yahweh, Mary, Jesus, Mary Magdeline, etc.
Maybe you could also say different ways of seeing God or any of them (like from a pantheistic way to a 'hard' polytheistic view e.g. seeing Jesus as the son of a god, without saying the other gods aren't real, etc).
Anyway, i hope that made sense, and hope it helped :).

Thank you all for your thoughts.
HappinessInSlytherin - good thoughts, but topics for a Jesus scholar, rather than a layperson's book for practicing Christopagans.
Have you read:
The Jesus Sutras, Palmer
Jesus the Magician, Smith
You are the Light: Rediscovering the Eastern Jesus, Sahajananda
As Jesus did not leave writings, we will never know if He thought Himself as mystic/mage/psychic/etc.
