Hi Folks,
I shared this in the Parenting forum because it's geared towards kids but I wanted to share it here too.
http://www.fairyhouses.com/home.html
The website aims to reconnect kids with nature by making natural material wee lil homes for the Fay! Natural items can be whatever is in your yard, neighborhood, forest or beach. Do not use live plants or kill anything to make the homes, only use whatever has already fallen. Pinecones, twigs, leaves, acorns, moss, shells, feathers, stones, bark, etc... It's also good to build these homes in out of the way spots where they blend into the nearby flora.
Click on the Pictures link to see many examples of the homes.
I love this idea and have been collecting items from my yard (what a treasure trove hehehe) to make a couple of my own. Nice way to decorate, naturally.
