Animal Attunements?

This originally was meant to be animal empowerments, but seems to go astray due to bad wording, so to change the first post to match the rest.

Have your animals ever had an attunement of any sort? Did it change how they acted? Did you feel different energies around them afterward?

I've known pets who did healing work, or saw the need for some, & tried to get other people to do it. Usually, it amounts to just providing some comfort, but that can go a long way...

Yes, I have heard of the recent trends of attuning animals. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I have given animals reiki before, especially at the animal shelter.

But I was thinking of how I've heard of people getting animal attunements.

i know a cat that got attuned to be a reiki master.
before she was attuned she was pretty skittish and not into hanging out with humans very much.
when i saw her again she was super friendly and very much into hanging out and being social.
then her human companion told us that a friend had attuned the cat without asking her if it was ok to attune the cat to a reiki master level.
the woman who did it said that the cat wanted it, but the human companion is not impressed because apparantly her cat has become more snobby about food since it happened.
which is saying alot because this person is into organic healthy living, so that cat already has it good.

it's suposed to give you the 'medicine' of the animal you are empowered with.

Thats really interesting with how the cat calmed down.

I've heard of some people becoming more finicky on what they eat after attunements also. Actually a lot of food people give their pets isn't so good for them due to the corn, wheat and salt levels so maybe it just feels that its time to ask for a better choice of food. :)
