I became a solitary because I didn't like the one experience I had with a coven. It was so political. It was all women, and everyone was scratching and clawing their way, trying to be the "leader", it was disgusting. I had to leave. Then when I left, they all acted like, "Oh, no, we're SO unified. We love eachother!" They argued more than anything else. But I like the togetherness and the strength of a coven. I don't know how to find one to join, though.

Aruging is what i do with all my friends. Its healthy to vent frustration. As long as they left it out of the circle ....

You should never stay with a coven that doesn't feel right for you. Witchvox.com has listings of covens. You might also try to run a search for your area, and see if there is a pagan network of some sort, they might be able to help you find covens in your area.
