Anyone know the properties of red jade. My father bought some to use in some jewelry making and it came on this bracelet. Also on the bracelet was a little buddha carved of red jade and I immediately took a liking to it. The Buddha symbol itself reminds me to be happy and content with what life has and the carving conveys this feeling very well despite it's being rather crude. It's my little fat happy buddha charm now ^^. But I was wondering if anyone knew the properties/energies of red jade. Thanks you ^^

Jade - is a healing and protecting stone. Red jade serves to stimulate the emotions; it aids friendships while promoting prosperity. Green jade serves to calm and soothe. Both have a general influence on the inner motivations and urges. Jade is associated with the birth sign Taurus.

Odd bit of info on Red Jade. It was the jade colour the Chinaneas (sp). royalty wore all the time. And so is associated with Royalty.
Just a bit of trivia.
